| Some instructions on how to use the website’s search tools. |
| SEARCHING |
| Simple Search : |
| 1. |
Type in your full address or GPS location in the space marked "Address." |
 |
| 2. |
To find the three nearest ATM machines, without any specification, hit the “Enter” or “Return” key on your keyboard, or click on the button marked “Search” at the bottom of the page. |
 |
| The website will then bring you to the Results page. |
|
| Advanced Search : |
| 1. |
After entering your address into the “Address” bar, you can refine your search with 8 options |
- Bank (Restricts the search to ATMs of your preferred bank)
- Languages (Restricts the search to ATMs that have the language option of your choice – this includes Braille)
- Handicap accessibility (Restricts the search to ATMs that are handicap-accessible)
- Fee (Restricts the search to ATMs with a withdrawal fee at or below the cap you choose)
- Drive Through (Restricts the search to Drive Through ATMs)
- Deposit Option (Restricts the search to ATMs that accept deposits)

|
 |
| 2. |
You can enhance your search with one, all, or any combination of these options. A refinement option is incorporated into your search by clicking on its accompanying tab, and choosing an option from the drop-down menu |
| 3. |
When you have specified all the details of your search, click on the “Search” button at the bottom of the page. The website will then bring you to the Results page |
|
| RESULTS |
| For any and all searches, you will be brought to the Results page. Here, the three nearest ATMs will be listed with their compete addresses from nearest to furthest.
Beneath, the location of the machines will be plotted on a Google Map.
Each ATM in the list is assigned a number (displayed on the far left), which corresponds with how close it is to your location (1: closest – 3: furthest). Clicking on one of these numbers in the list will center the Google Map on that machine’s location.
The list also provides the direct distance between you and each ATM, as well as access to step-by-step directions to each of the machines from Google Maps. To access these directions, click on the link marked “Directions” for the machine you want. A new window will pop up with all the information for you to read off, write down, or print out.
|
 |
| For each ATM on the results list, there is a corresponding “Details/Comments” link. This provides you with a list of the services and options provided by this particular ATM, as well as a list of comments from different users about anything from how good the parking is, to safety concerns about the location, to displeasure at how rarely a machine is restocked with cash.
Finally, FindATM.com also provides its users with access to Google’s “Streetwise” feature, located in its own display, beneath the map. Clicking on one of the numbers in the list, and re-centering the map will activate and reset “Streetwise” to that location. Clicking with the mouse on any other location on the map will also reset “Streetwise” to that locale. Streetwise is then navigable with either the mouse or key-pad down any street that Google has already video-mapped. You can use “Streetwise” to give yourself a visual or your destination, help you recognize landmarks along your route, get a sense of local parking locations, etc.

| Results for an Advanced Search: |
| The Results page for an Advanced Search will look exactly the same as they will for a Simple Search, with one great exception. Unlike a Simple Search, which merely identifies the three nearest ATMs to your location, an advanced search will locate the three nearest ATMs to your location that meet all of your chosen specifications. Sometimes, however, these machines can be quite a distance away.
In order to give our users the option to choose between their various wants and needs, the Advanced Search also displays a fourth result: the nearest machine, overall. So if you’re in a rush, you know you won’t have to travel far.
|
 |
| This, fourth, ATM will appear on the list with the others, marked with a red dot (to differentiate it from the others in green). This red dot will also be plotted on the Google Map. It is otherwise exactly like any of the other entries on the list, with all the same tools and links available. |
| You are now expertly versed in the workings of this website. Take advantage of all the tools FindATM.com has to offer, and tell your friends! |
